Erasmus Mundus IMPAKT Project grantees from University of Szczecin, Poland meet the Vice Chancellor

Prof. Dr. Edyta Rudawska, Director of the Institute of Marketing Management and Prof. Malgorzata Wiścicka of the Department of Marketing Management, University of Szczecin, Poland called upon the Vice Chancellor Senior Professor Sunanda Madduma Bandara on 8th February 2017. Prof. Wiścicka is attached to the Department of on Marketing Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies since September 2016 on an Erasmus Mundus IMPAKT Project Postdoctoral Mobility Grant for six months. Prof. Rudawska is on a one month Academic Staff Mobility Grant attached to the same Department under the IMPAKT Project. While Prof. Wiścicka has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Department of Marketing Management since her arrival in Sri Lanka, Prof. Rudawska teaches the MBA students of the Faculty. They shared their experiences at the university and informed the Vice Chancellor about the initiatives taken for collaborative research and joint publications with the academic staff of the department and steps taken to further strengthening the existing ties.

This is the third time that the Department of Marketing Management has benefitted from the IMPAKT Project Incoming Mobility from Europe. Dr. Ajith Medis, Head of Department thanked the professors for their invaluable contribution.

University of Szczecin, Poland is one of the partner universities of University of Kelaniya. The visits of Prof. Rudawska and Prof. Wiścicka were initiated by Prof. Neelakshi C. Premawardhena, Director, International Student Affairs nd Coordinator, Erasmus Mundus IMPAKT Project.
