Khyentse Foundation Award for Excellence in Buddhist Studies

Khyentse foundation is a Buddhist charitable organization having headquarters in USA. The objective of the foundation is to financially assist the students to master in Buddhist studies in their higher education. This scholarship is awarded particularly to those who show outstanding performance in the discipline of Buddhist studies. The foundation expects, after completion of education, the receiver of funds will disseminate Buddha’s teaching for the benefit and wellbeing of humankind.

Every year this fund is granted to two students who have shown excellence in the special degree programme in Buddhist studies and in their extracurricular activities. Accordingly, in 2017, Ven. W.
