The University of Kelaniya and University of Utsunomiya, Japan on the 15th of February 2018 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to initiate an Internship programme.
The MoU was signed by Professor D.M. Semasinghe, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya, as well as Professor Tomoyasu Ishida, President of the University of Utsunomiya, Japan (signed earlier) at the Vice Chancellor’s Office of the University of Kelaniya. The due Internship programme will be conducted for two weeks in Sri Lanka by Dr. Dilrukshi Rathnayke, Head of the Department of Modern Languages, University of Kelaniya. The objective of conducting the Internship programme is merely to enhance intercultural collaboration between the two Universities.
The signing was witnessed by Professor Patrick Ratnayake, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Dr. Dilrukshi Rathnayke, Head of the Department of Modern Languages.
