Discussion on initiating Bio System Technology degree program

A special meeting was held between advisers representing University of Kelaniya and Asian Development Bank on the 25th of April 2018 at the Vice Chancellor’s office, with the objective of initiating Bio System Technology degree program under the Science and Technology and Human Resources Project funded by the Asian Development Bank.
The meeting was held under the auspices of Professor D. M. Semasinghe, Vice Chancellor of University of Kelaniya and Professor Willem Hoogmoed, Wageningen University, Netherland.
In addition, the event was attended by Mr. Royotaro Hayeshi, Sri Lanka Resident Mission Member of ADB, Dr. T. Piyasiri, adviser for Science and Technology and Human Resources Project of ADB, Dr. P. G. Wijayarathna, Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Technology, Dr. Chamli Pushpakumara, Head of the Department of Applied Computing, Dr. Indrika Abhayagunawardhana, advisor for Bio System Technology degree program and Dr. Laalitha Liyanage, senior lecturer in Computational Nanotechnology.
