	Centre for Asian Studies The Centre for Asian Studies operates as a research forum for Asia related studies in Sri Lanka, promoting a wide variety of research scopes to investigate both past and present conditions of Asia .
	Centre for Gender Studies The Centre for Gender Studies of University of Kelaniya(CGSUK) is an interdisciplinary unit and draws its membership from across the university. The CGSUK aims to provide a focus for research, teaching and consciousness-raising on gender in the university and within the community.
	Environment and Development Consultants (EDCON) Established in the Faculty of Science with the assistance of the University Grant Commission, “University-Industry-Community Interaction Cell”, extends the expertise of the academia to the industry and the community.
	English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU) Providing its service to all the Faculties of the University of Kelaniya, the English Language Teaching Unit represents the practical, task oriented aspect of Teaching English as a Second Language in the University.
	External Examinations Fulfilling the demand for higher education in the country ,the Centre for Open and Distant Learning provides services to the public to proceed with their higher studies as external candidates of the University of Kelaniya.
	Internal Quality Assurance Unit Internal Quality Assurance Unit of the University attempts to create a culture that seeks to improve the quality of all academic and other activities in the University community.
	Media Unit The Media Unit of the University of Kelaniya has been established in view of providing publicity for all academic and development activities of the University.
	Staff Development Unit Staff Development Centre provides appropriate to training and development of human resources to suit the professional needs of all staff of the University.
