Master of Arts (M.A.) Degree in Buddhist Studies (1 year)

Minimum Entry Qualifications:

1. A Degree specializing in any one of the following subjects: Buddhist Philosophy, Buddhist Culture, Philosophy, Psychology, Pali, Sanskrit, Sinhala, or a General Degree with any one of the above subjects except Sinhala.

or

2. An honours Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Buddhist Studies from the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka.

or

3. Postgraduate Diploma in Buddhist Studies at this Institute or a pass at the final examination of the Buddhist Studies conducted by the Budhasravaka Bhikshu University at Anuradhapura or a pass at the final examination of the Oriental Studies Society. (Sri Lanka)

Master of Arts (M.A.) Degree in Pali (1 year)

Minimum Entry Qualifications:

One of the following requirements is necessary for admission

01. A special Degree with Pali as a subject
02. A General Degree with Pali as a subject or as a subsidiary Subject in the Special Degree.
04. A pass at the Postgraduate Diploma in Pali conducted by the PGIPBS
05. Any other qualification acceptable to the Faculty Board of the Institute

Master of Arts Degree in Buddhist Ayurvedic Counselling (1 year)

Minimum Entry Qualifications:

A pass in the Examination of Diploma in Buddhist Ayurvedic Counselling Course conducted by this Institute
