Master of Philosophy in Buddhist Studies (M.Phil) (2 Years)

 
 

Minimum Entry Qualifications:

 
 
  • A First or second class (Upper Division) in an honours or Special Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University in one of the following areas of study. Buddhist Philosophy, Buddhist Culture, Pali, Sanskrit, Philosophy, or any other subject related to these areas of studies.
  • Masters Degree from a recognized University in an appropriate area of study.
  • Any other qualification / qualifications deemed as equivalent to the above by the Faculty Board of the Institute and the University Senate.

Applicants who are having above qualifications will be initially registered for M.Phil in Buddhist Studies and may be upgraded to a Ph.D after one year’s time with the approval of the Faculty Board of this Institute.
