Research Interests

• Study of structural and magnetic properties of materials using Moessabuer spectroscopy. Other techniques such as X-ray diffraction are also used, as required, to gain further insight to understanding the microscopic and macroscopic properties of materials


• Determination of the oxidation state and coordination environment of iron in silicates using Moessbauer Spectroscopy


• Exploring the possibility of developing a low cost solar cell with inexpensive and non-toxic semiconductor materials with the emphasis given to the electrodeposition technique for the preparation of the materials
