We are pleased to bring to your notice that the 5th NATIONAL GEOGRAPHY CONFERENCE on “GLOBALIZATION, DEVELOPMENT AND GEOGRAPHY” has been scheduled to be held at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka on 10th & 11th August, 2012.

Following very successful conferences held at University of Peradeniya (2009 & 2010), University of Ruhuna (2010) and University of Sri Jayawardhanpura (2011), the Geographers in Sri Lanka will be meeting at University of Kelaniya to discuss issues related to “Globalization, Development and Geography”. The NGC expects critical analysis of and fruitful discussions on seventeen selected broad themes.
