Welcome to the Centre for Gender Studies
| The Centre for Gender Studies of University of Kelaniya (CGSUK) is an interdisciplinary unit and draws its membership from across the university. It is therefore not attached to any Faculty but reports directly to the Vice Chancellor. The CGSUK aims to provide a focus for research, teaching and consciousness-raising on gender in the university and within the community. The current director of the CGSUK is Professor Maithree Wickramasinghe. | ![]() |
